When I hosted my friend’s “Oh-So-Sweet Baby Shower”, I wanted to create a backdrop for her to take pictures in front of with her guests and her adorable belly. I didn’t want something too dramatic or expensive–I was looking for something that would stand out in the white studio. For my daughter’s birthday I created a floral number; so, making use of similar supplies, I decided to create another variation on the floral wall.
STEP 1: COLLECT THE SUPPLIES
The supplies needed are as follow:
- 7 or 8 dollar store floral vines
- Dollar store fake floral bunches (optional)
- Washi tape
STEP 2: CREATE THE PERFECT VINE
Since the vines I bought had bright yellow and orange florals, I decided to replace the existing flowers with ones that matched my theme. At a different store, I found floral bunches with red roses and white blooms. I proceeded to pull off the existing florals by their stems and put the pieces on the floral bunches. On the naked vine, I placed the red and white flowers where the other ones once were connected. The outcome was perfect.
STEP 3: HANG THE VINES
The last step is to use washi tape to attach the vines to the wall.
