I recently hosted a Halloween Party for my daughter (see the Ghoul Squad Halloween Party) and I was looking for easy treats to serve to her and her little friends. I decided to use my base as various Oreo cookies so it was consistent on the dessert table. I also added some vanilla cupcakes and bought a small cake that one could easily make. Since they were all a hit, I thought I would share them all with you here.
WITCH HAT COOKIES
Double Chocolate Stuffed Cookies
Heat up bowl of chocolate melts in the microwave and once melted, add a small amount to the top of each Fudgeo Cookie. Add a Hershey Kiss and let it harden before serving.
Chocolate Dipped Oreos
Candy Ears and Eyes
Heat up a bowl of chocolate melts in the microwave and once melted, add a tiny amount with a toothpick to the place you would like to add ears, eyes and nose. Add chocolate whiskers to finish off the look.
White Chocolate Dipped Oreos
White Chocolate Melts
Heat up a bowl of white chocolate melts in the microwave and once melted, take a spoon and drizzle it over the Oreos. Once hardened, add a tiny amount with a toothpick to the place you would like to add the eyes.
VANILLA GHOST CUPCAKES
Milk Chocolate Chips
Bake Vanilla Cupcakes and frost them with the frosting once cupcakes are cooled. Add two chocolate chips to each for a ghostly look.
SPIDER CHOCOLATE CAKE
Vanilla Colored Frosting (Purple or Green)
Bake 8″ round cakes and frost them with the colored frosting once cooled. Once ready, add alternative chocolate and vanilla frosting in a circle from the inside, outwards. Take a knife and move it out towards the edge. Add a spider toy to the top and serve.
